The Vatican announced today that Pope Francis was ending general audiences with the public which were being held every Wednesday due to the Coivd-19 resurgence in Italy.
Recently, the world has seen a surge in the number of coronavirus cases, especially in Europe and America. They have also seen deaths as hospitals are filled with coronavirus cases rill there is no room for more. In Pope Francis chambers, some of his guards have contracted the disease so, its only safe that he stays away as much as possible. “Pope Francis will resume live-streaming his weekly catechism lessons from his library in the Apostolic Palace on the 4th of November.”
“This decision was made as a positive coronavirus case was reported during the general audience on the 21st of October in order to prevent any possible risk to the health of those involved,” the Vatican said in a brief statement.
