Evangelist Alex Kwentua is hailed as a dynamic man who excels in a variety of roles, including preacher, teacher, and gospel musician. As directed by God, he is the pastor of the Zion Mission church. He was born in Asaba, Nigeria’s Delta State. He is the fourth and final child. In December 1992, he had a meeting with Jesus that led to the beginning of his career. His initial exposure was through the Realm of Glory Church’s Zoe Melodic Singers choir, which is now known as the Consecration Choir.
He founded the “Mustard Seed Band” music movement and served as pastor of Chapel of His Glory Campus Church while pursuing his bachelor’s degree. His passion is using all possible ways to spread the word of salvation, healing, and deliverance. In Louisiana, Alex founded the African Gospel Band, a group that has mentored and developed a number of young people in the area. Evangelist Alex Kwentua values praise and worship highly. He began with a choir and over time developed into a worship leader with a distinctive style of worship that is alive. His music not only has a beat, but it also conveys a potent prophetic message that is courageous and joyful. He became a songwriter as a result, and he has produced four albums.
Alex plays the keyboard and drums. The Album “God is so Good” begins with a Praise medley seasoned with African contemporary best, followed by the award winning singles “ Lift my Jesus Higher Higher” featuring “Funmi.” This track is aired in many notable television and radio stations; Furthermore, he is currently on tour in the United States of America . Alex is married to Funmi and is blessed with three children Tobe, Nkechi and Chinedu. The family makes their home in Gonzales, Louisiana and attended Praise Church where Alex & Funmi served as Intercessory Pastors before they started Zion Mission.
