ABOUT MINISTRY VS INDUSTRY (MVI)
MVI is more or less the ministry arm of St harmony Productions.
The aim is to educate, inspire and expose gospel ministers to the intrigues, dynamics and benefits of the music industry.
in a nutshell, we seek to arm them with requisite knowledge to assist them achieve excellence in ministry while reaping benefits for their crafts in the music industry.
The very 1st edition of MVI took place in July 2012 on a very small scale.
This year, we took it to another level with support from great personalities and corporate entities.
The event held on March 16th, 2018 at AGC 7th Avenue and had the following participating choirs in order of their performance:
1. Amuwo sectional choir (Apapa District)…….1st position
2. Rhema praise Choir (Lekki District)…………..2nd position
3. The Hephzibah, Ejigbo sectional choir (Lagos District)…3rd position
4. Itire sectional choir (Lagos mainland District)…..4th position.
Due to the generous support from our partner, Mr and mrs Tim Ogboruche of Tehila records, each choir got 50,000 except the winner that got #100,000.

The judges at the event where:
1. Allwell Obi Msc (Music composition Unilag)
2. Chimezirim Odimba (Ace Choir director and instructor)
3. Enkay Ogboruche (Popular gospel artiste).
The choristers where asked to present two songs of which one would be self composed with the theme of the church for the year being “Revival of His glory”.
We had a breakout session where important topics relating to building an effective choir and musical band where discussed. Chimezirim Odimba and Allwell keys handled that.
Rev Nnamdi Onumaegbu (PA to AGC Gen Sup’t) flanked by other senior ministers as well as Mr Tim Ogboruche where on ground for the presentation of the prizes.
The actual official cheque presentation was done at the Apapa District Rally on Sat 24th, 2018.
