The National Christian Elders Forum (NCEF) has reportedly expressed anger over the killing of 11 Christians on Christmas Day by Boko Haram insurgents.
Recall that the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), a faction of Boko Haram te
rrorists, had released a video showing 13 men out of whom 11 were reportedly killed.
The Nation reports that the NCEF was furious with President Muhammadu Buhari, saying the president should be held responsible for the terrorist killings.
The Christian elders said President Buhari should restructure the appointments in the country’s national security units to reflect the federal character principle if he “is sincere that Islamic terrorists are “godless, callous gangs of mass murderers”.
