Wednesday, November 11 a short act of Remembrance will be held at 11am outside St Alkmund’s in Whitchurch and at the War Memorial in Tilstock.
Meanwhile church buildings are open for private prayer on specific days. Fauls and Tilstock will be open on Wednesdays from 10am to 4pm and Whitchurch will be open each day 10am to 5pm. Visitors must fill out a green slip for St Alkmund’s or the attendance book for Fauls and Tilstock or use the NHS Covid-19 app to check in to note that they have been in church. Reverend Judy Hunt also confirmed that throughout lockdown church volunteers would still be on hand to provide support when required.
