Schoolboy charged with Priest window smashing

     The 12-year-old is said to have been involved during a month-long “campaign” by a group of youths on the home adjoining the Holy Family Catholic Church, in Mossend.
      It’s understood the front windows of Father Michael Brown’s Hope Street property were allegedly smashed during an incident on Thursday. A Police Scotland spokesman: “Officers were called to Hope Street in Bellshill on Thursday, March 4, after reports of anti-social behaviour of youths and vandalism.
      “A 12-year-old boy has been charged in connection with vandalism and enquiries are ongoing.”
